It is now Jan. 2003 and 5 years after surgery. In total I have lost 224 pounds which a year ago put me at 165 pounds now I have leveled out at between 175 to 180 and that is where I have stayed it seems my body is happiest at this weight and who am I to disagree with it. My BMI is now a stable 21.
