NOTE REGARDING PATIENT PAGE UPDATES: Since the inception of the Duodenal Switch Information Zone in August 1999, maintaining the growing number of patient pages has become increasingly cumbersome, so a patient blog section is being considered to enable patients to update their own pages in the future. Please email if you would like to convert your existing patient page to blog format to maintain yourself, or if you would like to start a new patient blog. If/when we decide to move forward, we will let you know. In the meantime, please visit the Duodenal Switch Support Forum -- there is a great, dynamic group of people there who would love to interact with you. :) These are just a few of the people who have either already undergone the duodenal switch procedure, or who have made the decision to have the surgery.
