I am 37 years old, I am married for 19 years and have 3 children. Matt 17, Amanda, 15 Melissa, 13,. I have been overweight my entire life. I have tried many diets and lost weight but I ended up gaining twice as much back. I finally decided I needed to do something else. I started with a BMI of 43. I am 5' 3 1/2" and I weigh 255 the day I had my surgery. After 7 months I weigh 173 and have a BMI of 30. My surgery was uneventful, I went in Monday at 10:30 came out about 5:30. I was discharged the next afternoon. I have had no problems eating. I eat what ever I want whenever I want. I try to get my protein in first. I feel great today and I am hoping to continue loosing. I am about 30 pound from my goal. I will update later.
