I guess I could try to feed them to the dogs.
![]() But seriously, I do get the question, and maybe the time approches when I need to start adjusting meals, making them whole again, but eating more of them to get in the protein. But I'm so freaked out now about getting in my protein (see what you people have taught me) that I really don't even put much on my plate other than the meat. If I want something else, I go back a second time, and then I think, if I can go back a second time - look, more meat. All habits (however acquired) are tough to break. :| /k ps. When you're counting 'how much you have lost', does the pre-surgery program weight loss count? ![]() |

Concenses over on OH about that was a definite YES. I've always had my highest weight, then surgery weight, and when asked how much weight only give the surgery weight loss, but I've changed my tune and adding in the 20lbs that I lost a year before the surgery now.
![]() My little ones mostly like people food. Danee during her pregnancy, won't eat DOGFOOD, it's people food only, and only what appeals to her at the time. I've made up to 4 different foods for her some days just to get her to eat. With only 60 days to whelp, I don't want the babies suffering by waiting until mom is starving and she'll eat anything that I put down. She gives cravings a whole new meaning. Then, there are the days, that I have to spoon feed her to get her to eat. The mac & cheese from my hands was almost the last straw before she whelp her last litter 3 weeks ago. Yep, she's spoiled rotten, but a great little mommy.

Maybe I'll change my little ticker .sig and put my actual high weight instead of surgery day weight.
![]() Today - - egg/sausage taco - tea - pepper steak meat - 2 chicken fingers - 8 oz fried fish - more tea - vites I've gotten this strange gas thing lately - I eat a few bites, and my upper stomach feels stuffed, uncomfortable. If I wait, encourage a lot of burping, drink coke, I burp up a lot of gas, and then I can eat a lot more. For instance, last night, went to a fave chinese place and had the salt/pepper shrimp. Ate two, a few bites of roast pork, and felt miserable. Stuffed discomfort. But I stopped talking, drank a little, got the burps up, and after 15m or so, I ate the other 10 shrimp on the plate. I thought maybe coz I was eating too fast and talking, I'm taking in too much air and causing this backed up sensation. Unsure. Sound familiar? /k |

Very familiar. I'm 7-1/2 years post-op and this happens to me when I go out with a crowd. I tend to get involved with conversations, etc. and don't pay attention to what/how I'm eating.
