I became SOOOOO addicted to pistachios it wasn't even funny. Loved them! Still love them.
What I've found in the last 6 months-year is that I'm much more sensitive to salt now and I have to be very mindful of it. Which sucks because I'm the type who would salt roasted salt chunks if such a thing existed. But now I've found that if I eat salty food, I bloat painfully.
Strangely, the bloat is relative to the kind of salt. The worst offenders are kosher and sea salt. Which makes sense because they are my favorites.
I fell so in love with pistachios but am mindful of whether they are salted.
Of course in light of my recent issues, I have to swear off nuts and popcorn for a while until my internal issues heal up a bit more. Gentle gentle gentle.
