HazelB is done and dusted

Hazel's surgery is over and done. She went into theatre at noon yesterday. Her friend, who is visiting her, is texting me with updates.

She had some complications from one of the drugs used during the procedure which resulted in breathing difficulties. She was immediately placed in Intensive Care and at 10.15pm yesterday was conscious but unable to speak - I think that was more related to the yukky tube down her throat.

This morning she is much improved and is being moved to an ordinary ward later today - phew!
